I was introduced to PharmAffinity by a mutual friend. Initially, I had the free membership and utilised the available resources, which helped me to gain a better understanding of the Medical Affairs. This encouraged me to subscribe for the monthly membership, and attend the last two in-person events, both of which have highlighted key learning points and provided great networking opportunities.Recently, I have been undergoing the mentorship programme, and I look forward to continuing to work with my mentor to further develop myself.I recommend PharmAffinity, the mentorship programme and forum for anyone looking to make the transition to industry.

I firstly wanted to express my gratitude for the Pharmaffinity website. I am a pharmacist working in the telemedicine sector and have previously worked in hospital pharmacy. I have spent many years applying for jobs in industry on and off and this has filled a large gap for me in terms of transparency about the industry. I have been working my way through all of the resources and have been finding them extremely helpful. I have particularly enjoyed the two podcast series as this has helped me feel more motivated and encouraged with the topics discussed.

Signing up to PharmAffinity has been a pivotal move in working towards a career in the Pharma industry. The support and mentoring is what makes the biggest difference. Gina was a great mentor/coach for me in understanding the ABPI code. Before taking her mentoring session, I had no idea about the ABPI code and the UK Pharma rules. Her mentoring sessions were very pragmatic with many real examples, and interactive with the right questions under a warm atmosphere. Thanks to three months of mentoring sessions with her, I could pass the internal signatory assessment with the fastest record in the company.

Gina, your advice is impartial, and genuinely makes you think further, and I like the fact you've not swayed me one way or the other because ultimately it is my choice. It is highly appreciated.
